Terry and I had a wonderful ride on Suday. Originally planned to do the Ride on Monday, but the weather looked to ugly. I weather was great on Sunday; started at 11C and rose to 22C in the aftenoon. Wind was calm in the morning and a bit of a breeze in the afternoon. The was some snow on the ground at Elbow Fall, but it did not cool the air.

Had a bit of a breeze once we hit Millerville and heading west, but once we turned the corner and headed up route 762, we barely noticed the wind.Of course, then there was the climbing, but nothing to complain about. I would ride ahead of Terry and meet up with him at the check points.

Once I left Bragg Creek heading back to Calgary I had a bit of a tail wind. I was able to complete the last 34 km in 55 minutes; boy what a rush. My only complain on the final leg of the ride was I wished I had a higher gear or two; I had to accept my gearing a pedal faster instead.

Finished the ride at 6:30; a time of 10 hours 30 minutes. Terry was behind me, but since I still had 10 km to ride to get home, I did not wait for Terry to come in.

Road conditions were great. Those doing the ride in 2 weeks should enjoy it..
